American Tomahawk

I'm excited to announce a new project...

This is a collaboration between American Tomahawk Company and myself....This new combat/utility Ax is called the Comanche, and it was manufactured by the Italian cutlery firm, FOX cutlery....and believe me when I tell you , they did an OUTSTANDING job in following my design to the Tee. Take it form the eye of a picky knifemaker...the quality of these Ax's are incredible!

I designed them to be fully functional on a multitude of tasks, and in a variety of environments. The Comanche has the ability to chop, throw, pry open window panes, break windows, chop a sniper port in drywall, defense, shred sheet metal...and anything else you can think of at the time of need.

The large 2 holes are for weight reduction, the coating is Teflon and the steel is N690C0, a Stainless steel similar to 440-C. The handle slabs are textured G-10 with horizontal traction grooves that provide a grip that will be retained under the most strenuous circumstances, and works great while wearing gloves. Also, the bottom of the handle is flared for positive control while hacking /throwing, and spiked for penetration in a variety of materials. It comes with a sheath that is belt compatible and is made out of heavy duty nylon.

They come in 2 sizes....a shorty handle (10 inches) and a long handle (14 inches). Click here to learn more about American Tomahawk.
